Integrity checks
Automated checks, recomputed from the public register on a short freshness window — up to a minute, plus up to ten more while the refresh runs — and not once per reader. An empty list is never proof of anything on its own — every check is named below, with what it said.
rating spread
Nearly every review — 100% of 171 — is 5★. An observation, not a judgement: a genuinely excellent salon can be all five stars.
Checks
external timestamp — checked
review corrections — nothing to check
removal rate — nothing to check
rating spread — checked
publish velocity — checked
collection changes — nothing to check
signing key — checked
invitation record — checked
blocks after an invitation — speaks only when it finds something
invitation delivery — speaks only when it finds something
status changed afterwards — nothing to check
absences not recorded — speaks only when it finds something
“speaks only when it finds something”: the check ran on this register. Whether it had enough data to measure is deliberately not stated — it would say how many invitations this salon sends, and how much work a business does is its own.
About these reviews
Neither the salon nor we choose who is invited to write a review — the invitation goes out automatically after every finished visit (including one closed automatically at least 2 hours after its end time, unless it was cancelled), on the same published rules for every salon. The salon holds three levers and all three only ever REMOVE somebody: its own block list, an objection its staff relay when a customer states one at the counter, and recording a finished visit as an absence — a correction with no deadline, which ends an invitation already sent, is refused once a review has been written, and cannot be undone. None of them can add a name, the last one also raises a public signal on this register, and all three are counted on the salon's own register screen.
Everyone who completes an appointment is invited — at most one invitation every 30 days per person, at most 3 unanswered invitations ever, and never again after a STOP. The invitation reaches the people who were shown this notice when they left their contact details at booking. A visit counts as finished when it was closed at the till, with the finish button, or automatically at least 2 hours after its end time, and was not cancelled.
Reviews are never paid for, and nothing is offered in exchange for one.
Reviews are published indefinitely, in an append-only register: the salon cannot edit or delete them. Withdrawal by the author, and removal on a legal ground, stay possible — and every removal is itself recorded in the register, with the ground stated.
The author can be contacted through the salon for any clarification.
The author may correct their review; a correction publishes a new version without deleting the old one.
A review keeps the stylist recorded at the time of the visit, even if that person is no longer part of the team.
We refuse to publish only in the cases the law provides for — unlawful content, personal data, or a court order.
